Series Review of "Manifest"

Hey Amerimedia Fam,

During the pandemic, I stumbled upon a show that profoundly resonated with me, and I wanted to share it with all of you. The show is called "Manifest," starring Melissa Roxburgh and Josh Dallas (from "Once Upon a Time" on Disney Plus/ABC) as siblings Michaela and Ben Stone. They return from a flight to Jamaica only to discover that their plane has been missing for five years with no explanation. As if that wasn't shocking enough, they must now deal with a government investigation and a public that either reveres or vilifies them.

But the mystery deepens. Michaela begins experiencing auditory and visual hallucinations that compel her to intervene in various situations. Miraculously, her actions often save lives, putting a target on her back. The rest of the story follows Michaela, Ben, and the other passengers as they uncover the truth about their flight and realize they might be part of something greater than they ever imagined.

"Manifest" is an American supernatural drama television series created by Jeff Rake. It premiered on September 24, 2018, on NBC, running for three seasons before being canceled. Fortunately, it was revived and is now available on Netflix for its final season. The show delves into deep themes of loss, self-discovery, religion, and spirituality while maintaining a gripping main plot. Though it occasionally struggled to balance personal dramas with the overarching story, the series achieved remarkable storytelling and character development, thanks to its stellar cast.

At its core, "Manifest" is about the diverse relationships we form with others and ourselves and how these connections can foster meaningful change in our communities. Despite differences in race, creed, religion, and disposition, the show beautifully illustrates how we can create meaningful bonds and impact those around us.

If you're a fan of supernatural, drama, or mystery genres, I highly recommend giving "Manifest" a try. Let us know your thoughts!

Thanks again for checking in,
