Winners to Be Celebrated May 16–18 at Pennsylvania Convention Center

PHILADELPHIA, April 30, 2025 — The next generation of artists is about to take center stage.

FAN EXPO Philadelphia, the region’s largest pop culture convention, has teamed up with the School District of Philadelphia to launch a new initiative spotlighting young creatives. This Youth Art Showcase will debut during the 2025 convention, running May 16–18 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.

✏️ A Platform for Young Talent

In a bold new partnership tied to the District’s annual Young Artists Exhibition, six students—two each from elementary, middle, and high school—will receive:

• 🎟️ An Ultimate Fan Badge to FAN EXPO Philadelphia

• 🎟️ A 3-Day Adult Badge for a parent or guardian

• 🖼️ Their original artwork displayed at the convention

All students in the School District can also receive discounted tickets with valid student ID.

👩‍🎨 Artist Alley Meets Education

Home to iconic creators, Artist Alley at FAN EXPO is where imagination thrives. This year, thanks to this collaboration, local student artists will exhibit alongside legends of the comic world—bridging generations of talent.

Workshops and live demos by educators and industry professionals are also in the works to further inspire and engage youth and families.
