COMING THIS SPRING

Vampires were the earliest form of Homo sapiens to inhabit the earth. They were a dominant and predatory species, reigning over the planet for millennia before other sub-human species emerged and grew weary of their oppressive rule. In nature's pursuit of equilibrium, lesser humans developed abilities to defend themselves against the dominance of the First Men. Some individuals became attuned to the power of the universe, mastering the manipulation of elements as witches and warlocks. Others evolved into formidable predators capable of transforming into wolves, safeguarding their clans against the insatiable hunger of the First Men. A prolonged battle ensued among these species, lasting for a millennium. Despite the vampires' superiority in age, wisdom, and strength over the so-called subhumans, they were unprepared for the rapid rate at which the latter multiplied. While the mortals had short lifespans, their numbers tripled or even quadrupled every decade. The First Men were nearly wiped out until the Vampire queens discovered that their venom could convert subhumans into vampires. Though these converts were not as potent as natural-born vampires and rarely possessed the sensitivity to draw power from the universe’s life force, their thirst for blood made them formidable warriors.

The conflict persisted until nature intervened once more, this time with a transformative impact. Certain humans were chosen to act as nature's protectors. Endowed with the divine ability to heal using Reiki energy, they were granted clear vision and forged a bond with vampire hunters who served as the sword to their shields.

The Reiki energy permeated through all races of humanity, binding them to the universe through the cyclic energy of the astrological cycle. Maintaining the natural order required an enduring peace, thus agreements were made with each race, enforced by the Reiki, to uphold a truce until the changing of astrological houses. As the Age of Aquarius dawned anew, an era marked by significant change, a great age war was prophesied. The Reiki would bear witness to this conflict, and the victor would determine the ruling power for the next cycle of ages. Treaties would be renegotiated, and adherence to the terms set by Reiki would ensure the preservation of nature's balance. Failure to comply would result in the universe's intervention, potentially leading to the eradication of disobedient races.
